it worked about a week then the ipod said no longer compatible and it quit working dont buy this knockoff its cheaply made and wont charge the touch long before it is no longer compatible dont buy

The charger is not of the regular iPhone charger quality. In fact, the charge my phone gets from it doesn't last as long. However, this charge is convenient; its good for 3 different things.

When I first got my iPhone I forgot the charger for a business trip and had to pay $35 at Radio Shack for a replacement. I don't want something like that to happen again.
When I saw these for ~$2.50 I ordered five and put one in every vehicle, my travel kit and my office. These things work! Super value!

I bought this to charge my iphone 3G in the car and when I plug it in, the phone says that it is not compatible with the phone. What a waste!!
