just love it. don't shy away fron windows 7 starters, works just fine.

Beautiful product at first and everything was delivered correctly and on time.
BUT, after a month of the silver paint on the area below the trackpad (where the clicker is) started to fall off and now it looks like an old computer, specially the clicker.
Contacted Gateway, but all I got was "you may not be using the computer correctly" and "we are sorry but there is noting we can do. Not covered by the warranty." How come a manufacturing or design problem is not covered by the warranty? Worse service I have ever experiences. They didn't even try to understand the problem or learn from it!
My first and LAST Gateway product.

The Netbook is everything I wanted and lives up to all the reviews and advertising i checked before purchasing. The only thing that I do not like is the highly polished casing which is so prone to fingerprints. Other than that it fully gets my five stars.

I love my netbook. It is so convient in such a small size that is very easy to operate with the full keyboard. I've really enjoyed this netbook.

I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this product. It is far better then I expected, because when you read the reviews for netbooks, it can scare the hell out of you because so many people seem to be able to find so many flaws that disturb them and cause them some kind of trauma....
But this one seemed to be the best value for the money, given it's hard drive size, and battery power... and it has not disappointed. It runs Windows XP beautifully, and given it's size, I found no need to upgrade to windows 7, and actually forgot how good XP can be. It has run flawlessly right out of the box, immediately found my wireless connections in both home and my office and the battery life so far has been great. It's averaging around 8 straight hours with heavy usage and runs all my programs with a decent amount of speed.
I went to Best Buy and played around with all the netbook keyboards and mousepads and found this one to be the easiest one to type on and mouse with. One the whole I love this netbook and heartily recommend it to anyone who is concerned about buying the right product with the least amount of troubles.
