Review of Michael Jackson Live in Australia, 1987 July 30, 2010 bj4mj This DVD was of very poor quality: audio and visual. I have seen better video quality of the BAD World Tour that amateurs have uploaded to YouTube. This was extremely disappointing. In this day of technology when they colorized the original movie "The Wizard of Oz" and yet this DVD is of such poor quality. The J5 in Mexico City when it gets to the part that introduces the family it just craps out and never comes back. This cost more than the Dangerous World Tour that you can purchase at Walmart now for under $10.00 USD and is excellent in audio and visual quality. To get this was a real disappointment. I am not sure if this is legally licensed because I don't believe that Michael would allow something of such poor quality to be distributed with his name attached to it. Where are the folks uploading to YouTube getting their excellent quality DVDs? I was forced to give this a rating of 1, I really would have rated this a zero.
MICHAEL JACKSON-LIVE IN AUSTRALIA July 21, 2010 DANA J MARSEE (KENTUCKY, USA) THIS DVD IS BAD QUALITY. THE 1987 CONCERT IS INCOMPLETE, IT JUST ENDS AFTER A FEW SONGS. IT SKIPS DURING SOME OF THE SONGS, SO YOU DON'T GET TO SEE OR HEAR A WHOLE SONG. THE 1975 CONCERT IS ALL THERE, A GOOD CONCERT. MICHAEL IS GREAT! I WAS A BIT DISSAPOINTED IN THIS DVD, BUT AS A FAN OF MICHAEL'S, I AM STILL GLAD THAT I BOUGHT IT.
Not Pleased with the copied version of the concert. July 17, 2010 gloria e jones I did not like the fact that at the start it blank out and most of it was not clear and lines were going threw it like it was a vhs and the color was off, I have seen this concert when it was on HBO and it did not look the same so to say these I was very disappointed and if you are going to make a copy of something then you need to sit and look at it and say if looks like quality or not because people are paying quality merchansise and we expect better especially those who have watch Michael Jackson's performance's in the past. I have grown up watch the Jackson's show on Soul Train and other shows.
Disappointed July 5, 2010 Hermien 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In the Netherlands we have DVD's with the most common concerts of Michael but it's hard to find DVD's with concerts of the Jackson 5. When I found this one I wanted to have it. Beforhand I knew that the quality of the Mexico concert would'nt be the best quality you can expect from a footage of 1975. I loved to watch it and to feel the energy of theis 17 year old Michael and his brothers.
The recording of MJ's Australian live concert 1987 was terribly bad and it seems that a part of the concert is missing.
I think that $16.95 is way too much money to pay for this DVD.
What a show July 5, 2010 phaze3 Just got this dvd in the mail and i loved it the bad tour was okay i got on dvd already.but the j5 tour was the best i seen it you tube.mike was the man even when he was a teen. i always enjoy him with his brothers.it look like jackie and marlon couldn't keep up with him.that show prove one thing with or without his brothers mike was always about family....
